To cancel a Rugiet subscription, log into the Member Portal, open My Prescription, and choose “Skip a month or cancel your plan,” then confirm cancellation. Do it at least 48 hours before your next monthly processing date. Miss that window and the next order ships and gets charged, with no refund once the pharmacy has filled it. If the portal won’t cooperate, Customer Care can cancel for you by email or phone.
The Portal Steps
Sign in at Rugiet’s website and go to your account dashboard. Click My Prescription, then select Skip a month or cancel your plan. Choose cancellation when prompted, answer the short feedback question about why you’re leaving, and finish the confirmation prompts.1Rugiet Health. Can I Change, Pause, or Cancel My Membership Plan?
If you subscribe to more than one Rugiet product, use the dropdown under your name to pick the right one. Each product bills on its own cycle, so canceling one leaves the others active.
The 48-Hour Deadline Is What Matters
Rugiet’s terms require cancellation at least 48 hours before the next monthly processing date. After that cutoff the order is filled, the card is charged, and you wait until the following cycle. Once the pharmacy has processed the medication, neither the order nor the charge can be reversed.2Rugiet. Terms and Conditions
If you’re not sure when your next charge hits, log in and check your prescription details before you start counting hours. Waiting until the day before shipment is too late.
Pause or Skip Instead of Cancel
You don’t have to end the subscription entirely. The same portal path lets you pause the membership or skip a single month, keeping your prescription on file. Follow My Prescription to Skip a month or cancel your plan, then choose skip or pause rather than cancel.1Rugiet Health. Can I Change, Pause, or Cancel My Membership Plan?
Pausing is worth considering if the reason is cost or timing. It spares you a new medical intake and consultation if you decide to restart later.
Cancel Through Customer Care
If the portal isn’t working, your account is locked, or you can’t find the cancellation option, contact Customer Care:
- Email: customercare@rugiet.com
- Phone: +1 (855) 581-9620
- Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. CST
If you email, put “Cancel Subscription” in the subject line and include the name and email address on your account. Keep the sent message and any reply. Email leaves a timestamped record that a phone call doesn’t, which helps if you have to dispute a later charge. What you want back is written confirmation that the subscription has been canceled.
Why You Probably Won’t Get a Refund
Rugiet doesn’t refund orders once the medication has shipped. Federal pharmacy guidance prohibits returning dispensed prescription drugs to stock because there’s no way to verify they haven’t been contaminated or altered outside the pharmacy’s control.3U.S. Food and Drug Administration. CPG Sec. 460.300 Return of Unused Prescription Drugs to Pharmacy Stock
The narrow exceptions are fulfillment errors (wrong medication, strength, or quantity), damaged shipments reported to Customer Care within one week of delivery, and lost packages reported within 24 hours of the expected delivery time. Rugiet does not refund for shipping delays, dissatisfaction with flavor or side effects, or lack of effectiveness. Subscription changes also need to be in place at least 24 hours before an order processes.4Rugiet Health. If My Treatment Doesn’t Work for Me, Can I Get a Refund?
If You’re Still Being Charged
If a charge appears after you canceled, first check whether it’s for an order that processed before your cancellation went in. If your cancellation landed inside the 48-hour window, that charge is legitimate even if it’s aggravating.
For a charge you believe is unauthorized, federal banking rules give you a separate route. Regulation E lets you stop a preauthorized recurring transfer by telling your bank or card issuer at least three business days before the next scheduled payment. You can do this orally or in writing, but the bank may require written confirmation within 14 days of an oral request; without that follow-up the stop-payment order lapses.5eCFR. 12 CFR 1005.10 – Preauthorized Transfers
Call your bank and tell them you’re revoking authorization for recurring charges from Rugiet. This doesn’t close your Rugiet account, so still cancel through the portal or Customer Care to avoid any downstream collections issue. The bank action just stops the money.
Confirm the Cancellation Stuck
Log back into the Member Portal a day or two later and check that your subscription status reads canceled rather than active or paused. Save the confirmation email. Watch your bank statement around the date the next charge would have hit. A clean statement means you’re done. If a charge shows up anyway, forward your cancellation confirmation to customercare@rugiet.com and ask them to investigate.
