This is the fastest route and works in any browser, desktop or mobile.
- Go to amazon.com/kindle-dbs/ku/ku-central and sign in.
- Under Your Membership, select Cancel Membership.
Amazon will try to talk you out of it with a discounted rate, a pause option, and reminders of what you’ll lose. Click through the retention screens and confirm. Open the app and tap the profile icon or the three-line menu, depending on your device. Go to Your Account, then Memberships & Subscriptions. Cancel if You Subscribed Through Apple

This is the single most common reason people can’t find the cancel option. If Kindle Unlimited doesn’t show up in your Amazon account, check your Apple subscriptions before assuming something is broken.
Call or Chat Amazon If the Buttons Fail

What You Keep and What You Lose After Cancelling

Highlights and notes you made in borrowed books stay in Amazon’s cloud-based Notebook feature. They don’t disappear with the books. If you re-subscribe later or buy one of those titles outright, your annotations should still be there.
If You Can’t Find the Cancel Option
Aside from the Apple billing situation, the usual culprit is a second Amazon account. If Kindle Unlimited isn’t listed under Memberships & Subscriptions, think about whether you might have signed up with a different email, or whether a family member used your card on their own account. Try any other addresses you use.

If none of that works, call or chat customer service. They can see which account holds the subscription and cancel it on their end regardless of how you originally signed up.
