To cancel your Color Analysis Pro subscription, go to the platform that actually charges you — Apple’s App Store, Google Play, PayPal, or the Color Analysis Pro website — and stop the renewal there. Canceling in the wrong place is the single most common reason people keep getting billed after they thought they were done.
Find Out Who Is Actually Billing You
Open the original purchase confirmation email. A receipt from Apple means the subscription runs through the App Store. A receipt from Google Play means it runs through Google. A receipt from PayPal or from Color Analysis Pro directly means you subscribed outside the app stores.
If you can’t find the email, check your bank or credit card statement. Apple charges usually show as “APPLE.COM/BILL.” Google charges appear as “GOOGLE*” followed by the app name. A PayPal descriptor or the company’s own name means you paid one of them directly. This matters because canceling your account on the Color Analysis Pro website does nothing to stop App Store or Google Play billing, and canceling in the App Store does nothing to stop a PayPal agreement.
Cancel on iPhone or iPad
App Store subscriptions are managed in your device settings, not inside the app.
- Open the Settings app.
- Tap your name at the top of the screen.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap Color Analysis Pro.
- Tap Cancel Subscription.
If there’s no Cancel button and you see an expiration date in red instead, the subscription is already canceled.1Apple Support. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription From Apple The confirmation to look for is the status shifting from “Renews on [date]” to “Expires on [date].” Screenshot that screen.
Cancel on Android
Google Play subscriptions are managed inside the Play Store app.
- Open the Google Play Store app.
- Tap your profile icon in the top right.
- Tap Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Select Color Analysis Pro.
- Tap Cancel subscription and follow the prompts.
Google may show a retention offer or a short survey. Keep tapping until you see confirmation that the subscription will not renew, and the renewal date changes to an expiration date.
Cancel Through PayPal
If PayPal handles the payment, you need to end the automatic billing agreement inside PayPal. On the website, go to Settings, click Payments, then Automatic Payments. Find Color Analysis Pro and cancel the agreement. In the PayPal app, tap the menu icon, then Subscriptions, select the merchant, tap Manage, and choose Stop Paying with PayPal.2PayPal. What Is an Automatic Payment and How Do I Update or Cancel One Cutting the agreement at PayPal’s end prevents the merchant from pulling another charge, even if their own system still shows your account as active.
Cancel on the Color Analysis Pro Website
Log in with the email and password you used at sign-up. Look inside your profile dashboard for a Subscription, Billing, or Account Settings section. The cancel option is usually nested under billing or plan management rather than sitting on the main settings page. Work through every prompt until a final confirmation message appears. Closing the tab before that screen can leave the subscription running.
What Happens After You Cancel
Canceling stops future charges but doesn’t cut off access right away. You keep the paid features until the end of the billing period you’ve already paid for. Cancel ten days into a monthly cycle and you still have twenty days of service left. Annual plans work the same way.
Fees for the current period are typically nonrefundable. Prorated refunds for unused time are rare unless the service had significant downtime or you’re within a very short window of being charged. Check the terms of service for anything specific to your plan.
Keep the confirmation email or screenshot. That timestamp is your proof of when you canceled, and it’s the most important document you’ll have if a charge you didn’t expect shows up later.
What to Do If You’re Still Charged After Canceling
If a charge posts after your confirmed cancellation date, your options depend on how you paid.
Credit Card
The Fair Credit Billing Act gives you 60 days from the date the billing statement was sent to dispute the charge in writing with your card issuer.3Office of the Law Revision Counsel. United States Code Title 15 – 1666 Correction of Billing Errors Include your name, account number, the amount you’re disputing, and why you believe it’s an error. The issuer has up to two billing cycles (no more than 90 days) to investigate, and can’t try to collect the disputed amount or report it delinquent while the investigation is open.
Debit Card or Bank Account
Charges pulled from a debit card or bank account fall under the Electronic Fund Transfer Act. Your liability for an unauthorized transfer is capped at $50 if you report it promptly, but waiting more than 60 days after the statement was sent can cost you the ability to recover losses your bank decides would have been avoided by earlier reporting.4Office of the Law Revision Counsel. Filing a Complaint
If Color Analysis Pro refuses to cancel or makes the process unreasonably difficult, report it to the FTC at reportfraud.ftc.gov.5Federal Trade Commission. Tried to Cancel a Service but Couldn’t? Learn Steps to Take Individual complaints may not produce a direct response, but the FTC uses that data to identify patterns and pursue companies with deceptive cancellation practices. Under the Restore Online Shoppers’ Confidence Act, an online seller charging on a recurring basis must give you a simple way to stop those charges; a company that hides the off switch is violating federal law.6Office of the Law Revision Counsel. Canceling Is Not the Same as Deleting Your Account
Ending the billing and removing your data are two separate requests. Canceling stops future charges, but the company likely keeps your profile, color analysis results, preferences, and payment history on its servers. If you want that information removed, submit a separate deletion request through the app’s settings or by contacting support, and say explicitly that you’re asking for full data deletion rather than account deactivation. Even so, financial and transaction records may be retained to meet tax and regulatory requirements, no matter what you request.
