How to Cancel Your AutoDS Subscription: Refunds, Trials, and PayPal

To cancel an AutoDS subscription, log into your dashboard, open Settings from the gear icon in the bottom-left, click the Plans & Add-ons tab, and hit Cancel on the plan you want to end. Confirm in the warning pop-up and the plan closes immediately. Export anything you need first, because every store, product, and order tied to that plan is deleted the moment you confirm, and AutoDS does not refund subscription payments by default.

Cancel a Plan or Delete the Whole Account?

These are two different actions inside AutoDS, and mixing them up is the most common mistake. Canceling a subscription plan removes only the stores, products, and orders attached to that plan. If you run more than one plan, say one for eBay and one for Shopify, canceling one leaves the other alone. Deleting your account closes your AutoDS login entirely and wipes everything.

There is one overlap worth knowing. If you only have a single active plan, canceling it effectively closes your account, because AutoDS requires at least one active plan to keep an account open.¹

Steps to Cancel a Subscription Plan

From inside your AutoDS dashboard:

Click the settings gear in the bottom-left corner.
Open the Plans & Add-ons tab near the top of the settings page.
Find the card for the plan you want to end and click Cancel.
Read the warning about data deletion, then click Cancel subscription to finalize.

Access to every store connected to that plan ends right away. Products, orders, and settings disappear from your account at the same moment.¹ There is no grace period. Download or export anything you want to keep before you click through the confirmation.

Steps to Delete Your Entire Account

If you want the login and every trace of your data gone:

Go to Settings, then Account & Billing.
Scroll to the bottom and click Manage/Cancel Account.
In the pop-up, click Cancel Subscription.
Cancel each plan individually if you have more than one; the account cannot close until they are all ended.
Confirm the final warning by clicking Cancel Account.
Select a reason for leaving when prompted.

Any Fulfilled by AutoDS balance is also permanently removed at account deletion, and that balance is non-refundable.²

Canceling Before the Trial Charges You

AutoDS runs a $0.99 three-day trial with full access to the plan tier you chose. When the three days end, your payment method is charged the full subscription price automatically. To avoid the charge, cancel with the same steps above before the trial period runs out. One trap: if you upgrade or switch plans during the trial, the trial ends immediately and you are billed for the new plan at that moment.¹

Downgrade Instead if Cost Is the Reason

If you are canceling because the price is too high, a lower tier may be enough. AutoDS offers monthly plans starting at $26.90 for Import (up to 200 products), $39.90 for Starter (up to 500 products), and $66.90 for Advanced (up to 1,000 products and up to three stores), with custom Enterprise pricing above that. Annual billing takes 25% off. To move down, go to Settings → Plans & Add-ons, click Upgrade Plan on your current card (the button says upgrade even for downgrades), and open the Need More? dropdown to find the lower tiers. Your current features run until the end of the billing period, and the cheaper rate begins on the next cycle.¹

One condition: your active product variation count has to fit within the new plan’s limit before the system will let the downgrade go through.

Canceling Through PayPal as a Backup

If you paid with PayPal and want a second layer of protection, or if the dashboard is not cooperating, you can revoke AutoDS’s billing permission directly:

Log into PayPal and open Settings.
Click Payments.
Select Subscriptions and saved businesses (sometimes labeled Automatic Payments).
Find AutoDS in the merchant list and open it.
Cancel the automatic payment.

PayPal will then decline future billing requests from AutoDS.³ Treat this as a backup, not a replacement. Cutting off payment without properly canceling on the AutoDS side can leave your account in limbo.

Refunds and Why Chargebacks Are Risky

AutoDS generally does not refund subscription payments. Their terms of service say refunds may be approved case by case at the company’s discretion, and any approved refund carries a fee of up to 15% plus whatever the payment processor charges.² Plan changes, upgrades, downgrades, and trial payments are non-refundable.¹

Filing a chargeback with your bank instead of working through AutoDS can get you permanently banned from the platform, and banks verify whether you originally authorized the payment, which often works against the dispute. Contact support first if you believe a refund is warranted.

Confirming the Cancellation Went Through

Look for a confirmation email at the address on file. It should say the subscription is no longer active and when your access ends. If nothing arrives within a few hours, log back in and check whether the plan still shows under Settings → Plans & Add-ons.

On your next billing date, review your bank or credit card statement for any new AutoDS charges. If you used PayPal, check your PayPal activity too. Save the cancellation email. If a charge does go through anyway, that record makes a dispute with your bank or PayPal much easier to resolve.

If You Cannot Cancel Yourself

If the dashboard will not let you cancel, or you are locked out entirely, contact AutoDS support. Email support@autods.com, which is the only route when you cannot log in. If you can log in, use the chat icon in the bottom-right of the dashboard or the Help Center and click Chat with us.⁴
