To cancel a True Sea Moss subscription, either sign in at portal.trueseamoss.com and end the recurring order from your dashboard, or email support@trueseamoss.com with a cancellation request. What matters more than the channel is the timing: you have to cancel before your next order generates in their system, or you forfeit any refund for that cycle.1True Sea Moss. Refund and Return Policy
Cancel Before the Next Order Generates
True Sea Moss says you may cancel “at any time before the next order is generated.” That phrase does real work. Once an order is created, even one still marked “Unfulfilled” and sitting in the warehouse, you no longer qualify for a refund on that charge. Once the order ships, refunds are off the table entirely.1True Sea Moss. Refund and Return Policy
Don’t cut it close to your renewal date. Check the renewal date on your original confirmation email or in the portal dashboard, and submit your cancellation several days ahead. If you cancel the same day the system creates your next order, the money for that cycle is gone.
Cancel Through the Customer Portal
The self-service portal is the faster route. Go to portal.trueseamoss.com and enter the email tied to your account. Rather than asking for a password, the site emails you a login link, so check your inbox and your spam folder.2True Sea Moss. Customer Portal
Once you’re signed in, open the subscription management area. You’ll see your active recurring orders and their billing dates. Select the subscription you want to end and follow the prompts. The system asks why you’re canceling; answer however you want, but you have to complete that step to reach the confirmation screen.
Cancel by Email
If you can’t get into the portal, or you want a written record, email support@trueseamoss.com. Put “Subscription Cancellation Request” in the subject line. In the body, include your full name, the email address on your account, and any order or subscription ID from your confirmation emails. The more identifying detail you provide up front, the less back-and-forth delays processing.1True Sea Moss. Refund and Return Policy
Expect a reply within two to three business days. If nothing arrives, send a follow-up that references the date of your first email. Save every message: your original request, any responses, and the final confirmation. That record matters if you later have to dispute a charge with your bank.
Confirm the Cancellation and Watch Your Statements
A cancellation isn’t finished until you have written proof. Look for an automated confirmation email verifying that the subscription has ended, and keep it.
Then watch your bank or credit card statements for at least one full billing cycle. Recurring billing systems sometimes process a charge that was already queued when you canceled. If an unexpected charge appears, you have 60 days from the statement date to dispute it in writing with your card issuer under the Fair Credit Billing Act.3Office of the Law Revision Counsel. 15 US Code 1666 – Correction of Billing Errors
Refund Rules If You’ve Already Been Charged
True Sea Moss accepts refund or replacement requests within 30 days of your first order confirmation date or subscription renewal date. Anything outside that window is denied.1True Sea Moss. Refund and Return Policy
Several restrictions trip people up:
- Returns are generally limited to your first order. If you placed a second order for the same product, later orders are ineligible unless items arrive damaged, defective, or lost.
- If your first order contained multiple units of the same product, including different flavors, you may open only one. The rest must stay sealed to qualify.
- For damaged, defective, or incorrect items, you must contact support within 48 hours of delivery with photo evidence. Confirmed lost, damaged, or defective items qualify for a full refund or replacement even when otherwise marked final sale.
- You pay return shipping. The company provides a prepaid label, but that cost is deducted from your refund.
- Approved refunds go back to the original payment method within 10 business days after the company receives and inspects the returned items.
Refund requests have to be submitted by email to support@trueseamoss.com with a receipt or proof of purchase. Requests through social media, phone, or voicemail are not accepted.1True Sea Moss. Refund and Return Policy
If Charges Continue After You Cancel
If True Sea Moss keeps billing you after cancellation, you have two tools that don’t depend on the company cooperating.
The first is a stop-payment order through your bank. Under the Electronic Fund Transfer Act, you can halt any preauthorized recurring transfer by notifying your financial institution at least three business days before the next scheduled charge. You can call it in, but your bank may ask you to put it in writing within 14 days. A written stop-payment order generally lasts six months and can be renewed.4Office of the Law Revision Counsel. 15 US Code 1693e – Preauthorized Transfers You don’t need the merchant’s permission; the bank must honor the request when you give adequate notice.5HelpWithMyBank.gov. How Can I Stop a Preauthorized Debit
The second is a billing dispute with your credit card issuer. The Fair Credit Billing Act gives you 60 days from the date the statement was sent to submit a written dispute. Your letter needs to identify your account, state the amount in question, and explain why you consider it an error. The card issuer must acknowledge your dispute within 30 days and resolve it within two billing cycles.3Office of the Law Revision Counsel. 15 US Code 1666 – Correction of Billing Errors
If neither approach clears it up, you can file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission at ftc.gov. The FTC enforces the Restore Online Shoppers’ Confidence Act, which requires online sellers using recurring billing to provide clear disclosures, obtain informed consent before charging, and offer simple cancellation.6Federal Trade Commission.
