To cancel your Sony Pictures Core subscription, go to whichever service actually charges you: PlayStation if you subscribed through PS Plus, Amazon if you added it as a Prime Video channel, or Apple or Google Play if you signed up through an app. Canceling in the wrong place won’t stop the charges. Whichever route you use, your access continues through the end of the billing period you already paid for.

Sony Pictures Core isn’t one subscription with one price. It’s reachable through several platforms, and each one handles its own billing and cancellation.
- PlayStation Plus Premium or Deluxe members get Core access as part of that membership. Stopping it means canceling PS Plus.

- Apple and Google Play handle billing when you signed up inside their apps.

If you’re not sure which one applies, dig up the receipt email. The sender tells you where to cancel.
Cancel Through PlayStation
If your access comes through PS Plus or another PlayStation-billed subscription, you can cancel from a console or a browser.
On a console:
- Open Settings from the gear icon on the home screen.
- Go to Users and Accounts, then Account, then Payment and Subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Select the subscription and choose Cancel to turn off auto-renewal.
On the web, sign in to PlayStation account management, choose Subscription from the left menu, and select Cancel Subscription next to the plan. Either way, the subscription remains active until the next payment would have been due, then ends.3PlayStation. How to Manage Subscriptions on PlayStation
Cancel Through Amazon Prime Video
If you added Sony Pictures Core as a Prime Video channel, Amazon is the biller. Canceling anywhere else won’t stop this one.
- Open Manage Your Subscriptions in your Amazon account.
- Select Your Subscriptions.
- Find the Sony Pictures Core channel, select Unsubscribe, and confirm.
Amazon shows the end date on the confirmation screen. You can reverse the cancellation until that date. After it passes, the channel’s content leaves your Prime Video library and charges stop.4Amazon. Cancel Your Prime Video Add-On Subscription
Cancel Through Apple or Google Play
Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription. You have to cancel where the billing lives.
On an iPhone or iPad
- Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap Sony Pictures Core, then Cancel Subscription.
If you see an expiration message in red instead of a Cancel button, it’s already canceled. For a free trial, cancel at least 24 hours before it ends to avoid being charged.5Apple Support. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription From Apple
On Android
- Open the Google Play app and tap your profile icon.
- Go to Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Select Sony Pictures Core, tap Cancel Subscription, and follow the prompts.

BRAVIA and Xperia Bundles Do Not Auto-Renew
If your Core access came bundled with a BRAVIA TV or Xperia phone, there is nothing to cancel. These promotions provide a fixed streaming window and a set number of movie credits, then simply end. No recurring charge kicks in when the promotion runs out.
BRAVIA bundles come with 5, 10, or 15 movie credits depending on the model. Credits from a 10- or 15-credit bundle expire 24 months after being added to your account; credits from a 5-credit bundle expire after 12 months.7Sony Electronics. What Happens After You Cancel
Your streaming access keeps working until the end of the current billing period. Any movies you bought outright through your Sony Pictures Core account remain in your library after the subscription ends.2Sony Pictures Core. PlayStation subscribers have a narrower refund option. If you cancel within 14 days of the initial transaction, you can request a refund, though it may be reduced to reflect the portion of the service you already used. Confirm the cancellation went through before you close the tab. The subscription status should show an expiration date rather than a next billing date, and a confirmation email should arrive within a day. If it doesn’t, sign back in and check the status directly. Save the confirmation in case a charge posts later.
