How to Cancel NCH Software Subscription and Get a Refund

To cancel an NCH Software subscription, use the same channel you bought it through — NCH’s website, Apple’s App Store, Google Play, or PayPal — and do it before your next billing date. NCH subscriptions renew automatically, and there is no toggle to switch a plan to manual renewal, so cancellation is the only way to stop future charges.

Cancel on NCH’s Website

If you bought directly from NCH, you have two options. The simpler one is the subscription management page at nch.com.au/support/manage-subscriptions.html. Select “I would like to cancel my subscription” and enter the email address you used at purchase.

The other option is your account dashboard at account.nchsoftware.com. Log in, open the Plans and Payments page, and you’ll see every active and past subscription along with the next payment date and billing cycle. Cancel the plan from there.1NCH Account. Plans and Payments

One detail catches people out: NCH has no auto-renew toggle. You cannot keep the subscription active on a manual basis. Cancelling ends the renewal entirely, and starting again later means signing up from scratch.

Cancel Through Apple’s App Store

If you subscribed on an iPhone or iPad, Apple handles the billing, so you cancel through Apple rather than NCH.2Apple. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription from Apple

  • Open the Settings app.
  • Tap your name at the top.
  • Tap Subscriptions.
  • Find and tap the NCH software subscription.
  • Tap Cancel Subscription.

If there’s no Cancel button, or you see an expiration message in red, the subscription is already cancelled. Deleting the app does not cancel anything. Apple will keep charging you until you go through these steps.

Cancel Through Google Play

Android users who subscribed through Google Play cancel through Google’s subscription manager.3Google Play Help. Cancel, Pause, or Change a Subscription on Google Play

  • Open Google Play on your Android device and go to your subscriptions.
  • Select the NCH software subscription.
  • Tap Cancel Subscription and follow the prompts.

Same warning: uninstalling the app doesn’t stop the billing. Google will keep charging your payment method until you cancel through the subscriptions page.

Cancel Through PayPal

If you paid through PayPal, the recurring payment may sit inside PayPal’s automatic payments system.4PayPal. What Is an Automatic Payment and How Do I Update or Cancel One

  • On the PayPal website: go to Settings, click Payments, then Subscriptions and Saved Businesses. Find NCH Software and cancel the automatic payment.
  • On the PayPal app: tap the menu icon, then Subscriptions. Tap the NCH entry, select Manage, choose Stop Paying with PayPal, and tap Unlink to confirm.

Cancelling through PayPal cuts the payment method itself, which stops renewals regardless of what NCH’s records show. That makes it a useful backup if NCH’s cancellation page gives you trouble.

What Happens After You Cancel

Cancelling stops the next renewal but doesn’t cut off access right away. You keep using the software through the end of the period you’ve already paid for. Cancel a yearly plan six months in, and you still have six months.

Watch for a confirmation email and save it. If a billing dispute comes up later, that email is your proof. Check your bank or credit card statements through the next billing cycle to be sure no further charges appear.

For NCH software you downloaded to your computer, the program generally stays installed. Whether it reverts to a limited free version or stops working depends on the product. Hold on to your original installation file and registration details in case you need them.

Getting a Refund Within 30 Days

NCH offers a 30-day money-back guarantee. Within 30 days of purchase, you can request a full refund through the form at nch.com.au/general/refund.html.5NCH Software. Contact Refund Support It asks for the purchase email, software name, where you bought it, the purchase date, and a reason.

Refunds usually take 7 to 10 business days to appear on the original payment method. If an automatic renewal charge landed after the 30-day window, it’s still worth contacting NCH’s billing support, as they have processed refunds for unauthorized renewal charges in some cases.

If You’re Still Being Charged

The most common complaint about NCH subscriptions is charges continuing after the customer thought they had cancelled. A few things to try.

Start with NCH’s billing support form at nch.com.au/support/regcontact.html. NCH doesn’t publish a direct billing email or phone number; phone support is reserved for Platinum Support customers, and everyone else uses the online forms.6NCH Software. Contact NCH Software

If that doesn’t resolve it, dispute the charge with your bank or credit card company. The FTC’s Click-to-Cancel rule requires sellers to make cancellation as simple as sign-up and to stop charges immediately once a consumer cancels.7Federal Trade Commission. Federal Trade Commission Announces Final Click-to-Cancel Rule Making It Easier for Consumers to End Recurring Subscriptions When a company keeps charging after cancellation, your bank’s dispute department can reverse those charges, and the confirmation email from your cancellation makes it far easier.

You can also block the payment method as a stopgap. Some card issuers let you block charges from a specific merchant, and cancelling the PayPal automatic payment stops billing regardless of what NCH’s system says.
