How to Cancel Monat VIP, Flexship, or Market Partner: Fees and Refunds

To cancel Monat, contact Customer Care at (888) 867-9987 or CustomerCareUSA@Monatglobal.com with your account ID and a clear request to close the account and stop all Flexship orders. If you want a refund, you’ll also need to return products within 30 days of delivery using a Return Merchandise Authorization number from Customer Care. The exact steps depend on whether you’re a VIP Customer (now VIP Perks) or a Market Partner, and when you enrolled affects whether you owe a cancellation fee.

How to Submit Your Cancellation Request

You can cancel through three channels. Each one requires your full name, account ID, and the email address on your profile.

  • Email. Send your request to CustomerCareUSA@Monatglobal.com. Email gives you a timestamped record, which is the strongest evidence you’ll have if a charge shows up later.
  • Phone. Call (888) 867-9987 and ask the representative to process the cancellation. Write down their name, the date, and any confirmation number.
  • Mail. Send a signed written request to Monat Global, 3470 NW 82nd Avenue, Suite 910, Miami, Florida 33122. Certified mail with a return receipt gives you proof of delivery.1MONAT Global. VIP Customer Agreement Terms and Conditions

Whichever channel you use, state explicitly that you want all Flexship auto-ship orders stopped. Canceling the membership without addressing Flexship separately leaves a window where an order can process before the closure is fully recorded. You can also log into your account and pause or skip upcoming Flexship shipments while the formal cancellation is being handled, which prevents new charges from hitting your card in the meantime.

What Cancellation Costs a VIP Customer

If you enrolled as a VIP Customer after March 1, 2022, Monat charges no cancellation fee, regardless of how many orders you’ve placed.2MONAT. VIP Customer Agreement

If you enrolled before that date, the fee depends on how many qualifying Flexship orders of at least $84 you completed:

  • Enrollment order only: $25
  • Enrollment order plus one Flexship order: $19
  • Three or more qualifying Flexship orders: no fee (you’re considered “VIP for Life”)

Fees are charged automatically to the payment method on file when the account closes. Under the older agreement, the $19.99 enrollment fee is refundable only if you cancel within 30 days of receiving your product; after that, it’s non-refundable.2MONAT. VIP Customer Agreement

Monat rebranded the loyalty program as VIP Perks in 2026 with a reduced $10 sign-up fee. Under VIP Perks, canceling within 30 days of receiving your initial order entitles you to a refund as long as you return all products and contact Customer Care before your second order ships.3MONAT. Returning Products for a Refund

Monat’s 30-day satisfaction guarantee runs from the delivery date, not the order date.4MONAT GLOBAL. Refunds, Returns, Shipping and Cancellation Policy Before shipping anything back, call (888) 867-9987 or email Customer Care to get a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Packages without an RMA can be rejected because the warehouse has no way to match them to your account.

Write the RMA number clearly on the outside of the box, pack items securely (damaged returns don’t qualify), and use a trackable shipping service. You pay return shipping; Monat does not accept collect packages or supply prepaid labels.4MONAT GLOBAL. Refunds, Returns, Shipping and Cancellation Policy

How much you get back depends on timing:

  • Within 30 days of delivery: full refund of the purchase price, minus original shipping and handling
  • 31 to 90 days after delivery: 90% of the purchase price for unopened, unused products in original packaging
  • After 90 days: returns are not accepted

Items marked non-returnable, discontinued, or seasonal at the time of purchase are not eligible regardless of when you send them back.4MONAT GLOBAL. Refunds, Returns, Shipping and Cancellation Policy

Canceling a Market Partner Account

Market Partners pay a $49.99 annual renewal fee. You can end the agreement two ways: actively cancel, or let it lapse by not paying the renewal.

Actively canceling is the cleaner option. Contact Customer Care through the same phone, email, or mail channels and request termination of your Market Partner Agreement. You’ll receive commissions and bonuses only through the last full pay period before cancellation.5MONAT GLOBAL. Policies and Procedures

If you let the renewal lapse instead, Monat gives you a 30-day grace period, followed by a 15-day suspension during which reinstatement costs $100. After that, the account terminates automatically, your downline rolls up to your upline, and you have to wait six months before re-enrolling.6MONAT Global. Policies and Procedures

Inventory Buyback

Unsold inventory can be returned for 90% of what you paid, minus original shipping. To qualify, products must be purchased directly from Monat (not from another Market Partner), unopened and in original packaging, bought within one year before your cancellation date, and not marked non-returnable, discontinued, or seasonal at purchase. If Monat paid you a commission or bonus tied to a product you’re now returning, that amount is deducted from the refund. Refunds go back to the original payment method.5MONAT GLOBAL. After the Cancellation Is Processed

You lose access to the back-office portal and any VIP pricing or Market Partner tools. Scheduled Flexship orders stop, and no further automated charges should appear on your payment method. Refunds for returned products typically take up to 10 business days to appear on your bank statement after the warehouse receives the items.4MONAT GLOBAL. Save the confirmation email or written acknowledgment. Monitor your statements for at least a full billing cycle. If a charge appears after cancellation, you’ll need that documentation to dispute it.

If Charges Continue After You Cancel

Start with Customer Care and reference your cancellation confirmation. If that doesn’t resolve it, your credit card issuer can initiate a chargeback for recurring charges made after you canceled; provide the cancellation confirmation and any email correspondence showing when you requested termination.

Federal law is on your side. The Restore Online Shoppers’ Confidence Act requires online subscription sellers to provide simple cancellation mechanisms and prohibits charging consumers who haven’t given express informed consent.7FTC.
