To cancel an MLB.TV subscription on Roku, highlight the MLB app on your Roku home screen, press the Star (*) button on your remote, select Manage subscription, and choose Turn off auto-renew. Check That Roku Is Actually Billing You
MLB.TV can be purchased through MLB.com, ESPN+, Apple, or Roku. Only subscriptions bought through the Roku Channel Store can be canceled through Roku. A second way to confirm is your bank statement. Charges routed through Roku typically show “Roku” in the merchant name. A charge from MLB directly means the subscription lives on MLB.com.
Cancel Directly on Your Roku Device

Roku may offer a discount or ask for feedback before finalizing. You can decline both and keep going.
Cancel on the Roku Website
If your remote isn’t handy, go to my.roku.com/subscriptions and sign in with the email tied to your Roku account. Under Active subscriptions, find MLB.TV and select it. Choose Manage subscription, then Turn off auto-renew. A confirmation screen explains that you won’t be billed going forward and that access runs through the current billing period. What Happens After You Cancel
Roku doesn’t issue partial refunds for subscription cancellations. Once you turn off auto-renew, you keep MLB.TV through the end of the billing cycle you’ve already paid for, but you won’t get money back for unused days inside that cycle.4Roku. Roku Content and Subscription Refund Policy
MLB.TV plans auto-renew before each new season around March 1 unless canceled, so canceling before that date avoids the next year’s charge. The seasonal plan is $139.99 per year for 2026, and the monthly plan is $29.99 per month, recurring monthly through October.5MLB. MLB.TV Out-of-Market Packages
After the cycle ends, your subscription status changes to expired and charges stop. Save the confirmation email Roku sends, in case a charge appears later that shouldn’t.
Canceling a Free Trial Before It Converts

The steps are the same: highlight the app, press Star (*), select Manage subscription, and turn off auto-renew. You can do this the same day you start the trial. If the Subscription Doesn’t Show Up
If you can’t find MLB.TV in Roku’s menus, one of a few things is likely going on.
- You’re signed into the wrong Roku account. If you own more than one Roku device, you may have created separate accounts with different emails, and the subscription is tied to the account that made the original purchase.
