Cancel Through Amazon
If the charge appears on your Amazon account rather than as a standalone IMDbPro charge, Amazon controls the billing. Sign in to Amazon, open the Memberships & Subscriptions page, find IMDbPro in your active subscriptions, and follow the prompts to end it. Check for confirmation on both platforms, since the change won’t reflect on IMDbPro until Amazon processes it.
Cancel on iPhone or iPad
If you subscribed through the App Store, Apple handles billing and the IMDbPro site cannot stop the charges.

Canceling During the Free Trial
IMDbPro offers a 30-day free trial to new individual subscribers. A credit card is required at signup, but nothing is charged during the trial. Cancel any time before day 30 and you owe nothing, and you keep access for the rest of the trial period. Refunds and Timing
The subscriber agreement states that all fees and charges, including taxes, are nonrefundable. There are no prorated refunds for canceling partway through a billing cycle. Because of that, cancel before your renewal date rather than after. Canceling the day after a monthly renewal means you have paid for a full month you may not use. On the annual plan, canceling early in the year forfeits the remaining months.
What Happens to Your Profile After You Cancel
Cancellation changes what appears on your public IMDb page, and the effect depends on which subscription you had.
Premium Cancellation
When Premium ends, these items are removed from your IMDb and IMDbPro pages: featured image customizations and photos uploaded through your membership; primary video customizations and demo reels you uploaded; any customizations to your Known For credits, which revert to what the IMDb algorithm selects; and custom profession labels, which also revert to the algorithm’s default.
Verified credits and filmography remain. But if your IMDb page has no verified filmography credits at the time you cancel, the page itself is removed entirely. Basic Cancellation
Canceling a Basic subscription is more permanent. You lose your claimed IMDb page, all display preferences, self-verified personal details (including performer profiles and professional affiliations), any self-verified awards or credits, and your vanity URL, which then redirects to the IMDb homepage.6IMDb.
