To cancel a Fametonic subscription, go to whichever platform processed your payment: Apple if you signed up on an iPhone or iPad, Google Play if you signed up on Android, or the Fametonic website if you paid directly by card. Canceling anywhere else does nothing. Deleting the app does nothing either. The steps below cover each route, plus what to do about charges you’ve already paid or charges that keep coming after you cancel.
Check Your Statement First
Pull up your bank or credit card statement and look at how the charge is labeled. A line reading “APPLE.COM/BILL” means Apple is collecting the money, so Apple is where you cancel. “GOOGLE*Fametonic” means Google Play. If the charge comes directly from Fametonic with no Apple or Google prefix, you subscribed through the website.
This step isn’t optional. Logging into fametonic.com and deleting your account will not stop charges that Apple is processing, because Apple controls that billing agreement. Before you start, note the email address or Apple ID tied to the account so you can sign in.
Cancel on iPhone or iPad
Open Settings, tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions. Every active and expired subscription tied to your Apple ID will be listed. Tap Fametonic, then Cancel Subscription, and confirm.1Apple Support. See Your Purchases and Subscriptions in the App Store on iPhone
You can also do this from a computer. On a Mac, open System Settings, click your name, click Subscriptions, then Manage. On Windows, open Apple Music or the Apple TV app, click your name, and find Subscriptions under Settings.2Apple Support. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription from Apple
You keep access until the end of the period you’ve already paid for. It just won’t renew.
Cancel on Android
Open the Google Play Store app and tap your profile icon in the top-right corner. Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions. Find Fametonic, tap it, and tap Cancel subscription. Follow the prompts to confirm.3Google Play Help. Cancel, Pause, or Change a Subscription on Google Play
Access continues through the end of the current billing period, and no further charges follow.
Cancel Through the Fametonic Website
If you signed up on fametonic.com with a credit or debit card, log in there, go to your account dashboard, and look for a billing or subscription section. Cancel the plan before the next scheduled charge date.
If the account settings don’t offer a cancellation option, contact Fametonic support. Email hi@fametonic.com or use the form at fametonic.com/contact-us. Include the account email, any transaction details you have, and a clear statement that you want the subscription canceled. Ask for written confirmation and keep it.
Why Deleting the App Doesn’t Stop Charges
Removing Fametonic from your phone removes the app and nothing else. The billing agreement sits with Apple, Google, or Fametonic’s payment processor, and none of them check whether the app is installed.3Google Play Help. Cancel, Pause, or Change a Subscription on Google Play
Deleting your Fametonic account has the same problem. If Apple or Google is the biller, they don’t get notified. Cancel through the billing platform first. Delete the app or account afterward if you want.
Getting a Refund for Charges Already Paid
Canceling stops future charges. It does not refund what’s already gone through, and the current period is usually treated as earned since you still have access. To ask for money back, you go to whoever billed you.
Apple
Sign in at reportaproblem.apple.com, click “I’d like to,” then “Request a refund.” Pick a reason, find the Fametonic charge, and submit. Apple typically responds within 24 to 48 hours. Wait for the email receipt before requesting; you can’t dispute a pending charge.4Apple Support. Request a Refund for Apps or Content That You Bought from Apple
Google Play
Go to play.google.com, click your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions, then Budget & order history. Find the Fametonic charge, click Report a problem, and fill out the refund form. Google usually decides within one to four days. For purchases older than 48 hours, Google may redirect you to the developer.5Google Play Help. Request a Refund on Google Play
Fametonic Directly
For website subscriptions, email hi@fametonic.com. Identify the specific charge and explain why you want it refunded. Some users have reported slow replies from Fametonic support, so save copies of what you send and follow up after a week if you hear nothing.
If Charges Keep Coming After You Cancel
If Fametonic keeps billing after cancellation, or support goes silent on a refund, dispute the charges with your card issuer. The Fair Credit Billing Act lets you challenge billing errors in writing within 60 days of the statement containing the charge.6Office of the Law Revision Counsel. 15 USC 1666 – Correction of Billing Errors
Include your name and account number, the charge you’re disputing, and why it’s wrong. The card issuer has 30 days to acknowledge and up to 90 days to investigate. During that window, it can’t try to collect the disputed amount or report it as late to credit bureaus.6Office of the Law Revision Counsel. 15 USC 1666 – Correction of Billing Errors
For unauthorized Google Play charges, Google gives you 120 days to report them.5Google Play Help. Request a Refund on Google Play
Federal law also requires companies using automatic renewals to provide a simple mechanism to stop recurring charges. If canceling was made unreasonably difficult, that can itself be a violation, and the FTC has pursued companies over it.7Office of the Law Revision Counsel. 15 USC 8403 – Negative Option Marketing on the Internet
