How to Cancel Caliber Car Wash Membership: 3 Ways and Deadline

To cancel a Caliber Car Wash membership, submit a cancellation request online through your home location’s page, by email to info@calibercarwash.com, or in person at any Caliber location. Do it at least seven days before your next billing date, or you’ll be charged for another month with no refund.¹

The Three Ways to Cancel

Caliber lets you cancel through whichever channel suits you. None of them require a phone call or a retention conversation.¹

Online

Go to your home location’s page on calibercarwash.com and click “Manage Your Limitless Account.” The same tool is reachable from the Contact Us page under Membership Support, labeled “Manage My Membership.”² The online tool is available around the clock.

By Email

Send your request to info@calibercarwash.com. Include your name, the email address on your account, and your license plate number so billing can find your membership. The timestamp on your email counts as your submission date.¹

In Person

Stop by any Caliber Car Wash during business hours and tell the staff you want to cancel. They’ll process it through their system on the spot.¹

The Seven-Day Deadline

Your cancellation must be submitted at least seven days before your next billing date. Miss that window and the next month’s charge processes automatically. There is no grace period and no refund for that payment.¹

If you don’t know your billing date, check your bank or credit card statement for the last date Caliber charged you. The next charge lands on that same calendar date the following month. Count back seven days and submit before that cutoff. People who wait until the last minute routinely lose a month’s fee they didn’t intend to pay.

Pause Instead of Cancel

If you’re stepping away for travel, a repair, or a tight month, pausing may fit better than canceling. Caliber’s terms let you pause, cancel, or change your plan through the same three channels.¹ Pausing stops billing without closing the account, so you can pick back up later without setting up a new membership. The terms don’t mention a reactivation fee or a limit on pause length, though Caliber can update its terms at any time.

What You Keep After Canceling

Once your cancellation goes through, you keep access to the wash for the rest of the billing cycle you already paid for. Cancel on day three of a thirty-day cycle and you still get twenty-seven more days. Caliber does not issue prorated refunds for unused time, except where required by applicable law.¹

Save whatever confirmation email or confirmation number you get back. That’s your proof of a timely cancellation if a charge shows up later. If you sent an email, keep both your sent message and any reply. Caliber says it responds to support requests within 24 hours.²

If You Sold, Traded, or Totaled the Car

Limitless memberships are tied to a license plate, or to an RFID sticker at some locations.³ The membership does not stop on its own when the car is gone. You have to cancel it the same way as anyone else, and the no-partial-refund policy still applies.¹ The charges keep coming until you act.

If You’re Charged After Canceling

This is where the confirmation you saved earns its keep. Email info@calibercarwash.com or use the support form, attach your cancellation confirmation, and ask for a refund of the erroneous charge. If Caliber doesn’t resolve it in a reasonable window, dispute the charge with your bank or card issuer as an unauthorized transaction. Most issuers give you 60 days from the statement date to file, so don’t sit on it.

For extra insurance after canceling, you can remove Caliber’s billing authorization at your bank or swap the card on file. If anything slips through on Caliber’s side, the charge has nowhere to land.

Your Federal Backstop

The FTC’s Click-to-Cancel rule, enforceable since July 2025, requires any recurring subscription to be at least as easy to cancel as it was to sign up. If you joined online, you must be able to cancel online, and you can’t be forced to talk to a representative to cancel if you didn’t have to talk to one to join.⁴

Caliber’s setup, with an online tool alongside email and in-person options, appears to line up with that rule. If you hit obstacles like broken links, forms that won’t submit, or staff insisting you can only cancel by phone, the federal rule is your backstop, and you can file a complaint with the FTC at ftc.gov/complaint.⁵
