To cancel an AliveMoment subscription, first check your bank or card statement to see who is actually charging you, then cancel through that channel: Apple if the descriptor shows Apple, Google if it shows Google Play, or AliveMoment’s own website or support team if the charge comes from them directly. Cancel in the wrong place and the charges keep coming, because the billing platform never gets the message.
Check Your Statement Before You Do Anything
Pull up the charge on your bank or credit card statement and read the billing descriptor. If it says “Apple.com/bill,” Apple runs the billing and only Apple can stop it. If it shows “Google*AliveMoment,” the subscription lives in Google Play. If it references AliveMoment directly, you signed up on their website.
This is the step people skip, and it is why cancellations fail. Someone who subscribed through the App Store, then logs into AliveMoment’s website and clicks cancel, will keep getting billed every month. The website has no control over an Apple subscription. Identify the biller first, then use the matching steps below.
Cancel on iPhone or iPad
If Apple is the biller, cancel from your device’s settings:
- Open the Settings app.
- Tap your name at the top of the screen.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Find and tap AliveMoment in the list.
- Tap Cancel Subscription. If you see a cancellation message in red text instead of a cancel button, it is already canceled.
You keep access to the paid features until the end of the period you already paid for. Apple does not prorate refunds on the remaining days of a monthly or annual plan.1Apple Support. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription From Apple
Cancel on Android Through Google Play
If the charge is from Google Play, cancel from the Play Store app:
- Open the Google Play Store app.
- Tap your profile icon in the top right corner.
- Tap Payments & subscriptions.
- Tap Subscriptions and find AliveMoment.
- Tap Cancel subscription and follow the prompts.
As with Apple, your access continues through the end of the current billing period.2Google. Cancel, Pause, or Change a Subscription on Google Play
Cancel on the AliveMoment Website
If you signed up directly on AliveMoment’s site, log in and look for a subscription or account management area in your profile settings. Work through the cancellation prompts until you reach a confirmation screen. Screenshot that screen or save it as a PDF, and watch your inbox for a confirmation email. That confirmation is your evidence if a charge appears later.
If you cannot find a cancel option in your account, email AliveMoment’s support team or use the contact form on their site. Give them your full name, the email address on the account, and a clear statement that you want to cancel and stop all future charges. Keep a copy of what you send. If you speak with someone by phone, write down the date, the representative’s name, and any reference number. Response times for digital subscription services commonly run 24 to 72 hours, so do not wait until the day before your next billing date.
Free Trials Convert Fast
Free trials are where most people get billed by surprise. The trial rolls into a paid subscription automatically unless you cancel before it ends. Apple requires you to cancel at least 24 hours before the trial expires.1Apple Support. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription From Apple Google’s guidance does not name an exact deadline, so give yourself a couple of days of buffer. Canceling early does not cut off your access; you still get the full trial period on both platforms.
Watch the terms before you sign up. A short 3-day or 7-day trial often converts to an annual plan rather than a monthly one, which means a single missed cancellation window becomes a much larger charge than you expected. Set a phone reminder a few days before the trial ends.
What to Do If Charges Continue After You Cancel
If a charge still appears after you canceled, contact AliveMoment or the app store again with your cancellation confirmation attached. Many billing errors resolve at this step. If they do not, your bank and your card issuer both offer stronger tools.
Revoke Authorization With Your Bank
The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau recommends a two-step approach for stopping automatic payments: tell the company you are revoking their authorization to charge your account, then separately tell your bank you have done so. Your bank may also recommend a formal stop-payment order that instructs them to reject future charges from the company.3Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. How Do I Stop Automatic Payments From My Bank Account
Federal law backs this up. Under the Electronic Fund Transfer Act, you can stop a preauthorized electronic payment by notifying your bank orally or in writing at least three business days before the next scheduled charge. If you notify by phone, the bank may ask you to follow up in writing within 14 days.4Office of the Law Revision Counsel. 15 USC 1693e – Preauthorized Transfers Once you have revoked authorization, further charges from the company count as errors, and your bank should refund them.3Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Dispute the Charge With Your Credit Card Issuer
If you paid by credit card, you can file a billing dispute under the Fair Credit Billing Act. You have 60 days from the date the creditor sent the statement showing the disputed charge to submit a written dispute.5Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. 12 CFR 1026.13 – Billing Error Resolution Send it to the address your card issuer lists for billing inquiries, not the general payment address. Include your cancellation confirmation, any correspondence with AliveMoment, and a short explanation of why the charge should not stand.
The 60-day window starts fresh from each statement, so do not wait for the charges to stop on their own. Watch your statements for at least two full billing cycles after you cancel, and file a dispute the moment a charge appears that should not be there.
Canceling Is Not the Same as Deleting Your Account
Canceling stops the billing. It does not delete your account or the personal data attached to it. If you also want AliveMoment to erase your information, that is a separate request. Look for a Delete Account or Delete My Data option in the app or account settings, and if none exists, send a written request to their support team. Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and other states with data privacy laws can cite the applicable state law in that request. Keep a copy of what you send, the same way you kept your cancellation confirmation.
